JuliAnne Jonker is the artist and photographer in residence at Jonker Portrait Gallery centrally located in Apple Valley, Minnesota and WPPA key note speaker.
She has extensive training in both Photography and Fine Art. She has attended various schools and workshops across the country and in Europe, studying with some of the world's finest artists. She continues to study both fields, as well as sharing her knowledge with her peers through speaking and teaching at photographic schools and events. Her love for people of all types and ages has driven JuliAnne to create intimate portraits since she was a young girl. She uses and combines oil paints, pastels, watercolor, charcoal, sculpture, and photography to create timeless works of art for her clients. Whether you are looking for a traditional, classic portrait, a romantic or ethereal art piece, or a cutting edge contemporary look, JuliAnne can help you bring your vision to reality.

Jonker Portrait Gallery is committed to maintaining a low volume of sessions and commissions so that the personal attention you receive and the quality of the art created are never compromised. To this end, every commission begins with a personal consultation with JuliAnne at her studio. She believes that this time is essential in creating a portrait which is a true art piece and not simply a record of what the person or people looked like at that time. The goals of the consultation are to create a connection between the artist and subject, and then to have a collaboration of vision and planning. When this connection takes place between artist and subject, there is a magic that happens in the creation of the portrait. A depth of spirit is drawn out of the subject which is apparent in the portraits.
